History
The Treasure Island Hotel & Casino was launched in 1993 by Mirage Resorts under Steve Wynn’s direction. While it was originally designed as a family-friendly establishment complete with a spacious video arcade, it later evolved into its present-day hotel and casino resort form. Since March 2009, Phil Ruffin owned and operated the establishment.
The hotel was the recipient of the AAA Four Diamond rating from 1999 to 2013, yet another testament to its commitment to excellence in all areas of the hospitality industry.
What They Are Famous For
The buffet at Treasure Island features world-class dishes, drinks and desserts typically described by diners as among the best in Las Vegas. Among the delightful culinary offerings are delicious sushi, barbecues, and pizza as well as sumptuous desserts that taste like heaven in a bite.
Why Dine Here
You may find that the buffet may not be the largest on the Las Vegas Strip but what it lacks for in quantity it makes up for in quality of the food, service, and prices. Your dining experience will be more enjoyable with chefs who make made-to-order salads with the freshest ingredients possible as well as stations for pastas, sushi, and barbecues.
Your choices include continental food, American barbecue, fresh salads, Chinese noodles, and Italian pizza and pasta, as well as gourmet desserts, all of which will make you come back for more. On weekends, your choices include seafood dishes and prime ribs, which should satisfy your hunger for protein from the sea and land – until the next weekend, of course.
You don’t even have to spend hundreds of dollars on your meal since the buffet has reasonable prices ranging from $20 for breakfast to $30 for dinner, even under $30 for its champagne brunch. You can pay extra for unlimited beer and wine, an add-on worth every cent considering that the beverage selections are also better than in many buffets in Las Vegas.

As for the service, the chefs and wait staff are obviously well-trained in their jobs – attentive without being disruptive, friendly without being nosy, and efficient especially in refilling drinks, stocking up the food stations, and keeping the place clean.
