Although we do not attend poker runs as much as we do boating shows as a company, we absolutely love going to poker runs with our friends and families when we have a free weekend. We have made a list of five must-attend poker runs during the 2020 boating season.

SPRING KEY WEST POKER RUN

This poker run is perfect to attend if you are looking for a small, laid-back event in the Florida Keys. The event will run from March 19-22 and begin at Haulover Marina in North Miami Beach and head to the Key West Harbor. The trip will then end back in Miami. The cost per powerboat including a boat, captain, and mate is $895. Extra crew will cost $175 per person, as this price includes a souvenir event tee, catered function passes for dockside breakfast, poker run lunch, and the Saturday evening party. There will also be a safety management fee of $50 for boats running 40-60 mph, $100 for boats running 60-99mph, or $150 for boats running 100 mph +.

TAMPA BAY POKER RUN

Looking for a poker run with waterfront hotels, vibrant nightlife, and people who love boating just as much as you do? If so, then you should be in Tampa from April 16-19 at the Tampa Bay Poker Run. The schedule for the event looks a little something like this:

Friday there will be an afternoon fun run followed by check-in and a Captain’s Meeting in the evening. Saturday the events will really begin with a dockside breakfast prior to departure. Boaters will then enjoy lunch at the Getaway at St. Pete. At around 4 p.m. boaters will return to their respected resorts and marinas. The night will end with a Poker Run Awards Party at 8 p.m. To wrap up the weekend, there will be another fun run on Sunday afternoon after check-out.

The cost per powerboat including a boat, captain, and mate is $895. BAHAMAS POKER RUN

The Bahamas Poker Run is the definition of a relaxing, thrilling, and pleasurable week beginning on June 19th and ending on June 24th. The event begins by crossing the gulfstream from North Miami to the Resorts World Bimini Hilton, where guests will spend two days. While at the Resorts World Bimini Hilton guests will be able to participate in multiple boating attractions such as stingray feeding and snorkeling at the landmark Sapon shipwreck. Boaters will then head to Atlantis, Paradise Island where they can spend five days basking in the sun and taking day trips before heading back to Florida on Wednesday, June 24th.

Powerboats for this event will cost $1,295. This price includes a boat, captain, and mate. Extra crew is $200 per person.

Miami To Key West Poker Run 2020 Schedule

ROCK THE BAY POKER RUN

The Rock the Bay Poker Run is an annual tradition for many Northeastern boaters. The event takes place at the Chesapeake Bay from August 1-2, 2020 and has stops that include the Nauti Goose Anchor Marina, Tolchester Beach, Gunpowder Marina, and Lees Landing. The entry fee is $495.00 per boat with driver and navigator. Extra crew will be $150.00 each. This price includes a Friday night welcome party, Saturday breakfast buffet, poker run lunch stop, awards dinner banquet, an event tee,and chances to win cash and special prizes! There will also be a charity ride raffle where 100% of proceeds will go to Ryan’s Hope Charity. Ryan’s Hope works to increase awareness about pediatric brain tumors and provide help, care, and hope to children and families affected by childhood cancer. Boating is even better when it’s for a great cause!!

FALL BIMINI BLAST

Fall Bimini Blast is a favorite of many boaters on the East Coast. The event will begin on Friday, September 18th and last through Sunday, September 20th. Boaters will depart from the Trump International Beach Resort and the DoubleTree by Hilton Ocean Point Resort. This poker run will include many events in the Bimini area that boaters are encouraged to participate in such as snorkeling the historic SAPONA Shipwreck and local coral reefs and feeding the friendly stingrays at Honeymoon Harbour. The cost per boat is $750. This price includes a boat, captain, and mate. Additional crew costs $100 per person.
